Since 25 March 2026, Poshmark shows listing photos in 3:4 portrait. Square photos still work, and Poshmark frames them into portrait in search and the feed. A listing takes up to 16 photos.

Poshmark’s pages do not agree yet. The listing guide and the bulk-upload guide still describe square photos, and neither carries a date. The portrait announcement is dated 25 March 2026.

Still yours to check

The tool cannot retake a photo. These rules depend on the picture you start with.

  • Use bright, even light, and keep your angles the same from photo to photo.1
  • Add at least 4 photos for each item. Poshmark takes up to 16.25
  • Photograph the real item. A bulk-upload cover shot cannot be a generic image, a graphic or an illustration.4
  • Keep props from covering the item.4

Why do my Poshmark photos look cut off?

Photos in search and the feed now show in a 3:4 portrait frame, and Poshmark says this may slightly adjust square photos. Your original stays on the listing page, and Poshmark says you do not have to replace old photos. For a cover that fills the frame, upload a 3:4 photo. The tool makes one of 1080 × 1440 pixels with the whole item inside, and the square version stays one tap away for your other marketplaces.1
